EME is quite simply a team of qualified people here to welcome you, provide free access to useful documents and services laid on by public or private partners on various themes.

The student information space

At the beginning of the University year, during registration time, EME (Espace Multiservices Etudiant) makes all necessary information available to students, to enable them to fit into Lyon and ensure their studies go well. EME isco-organised by the CROUS of St Etienne and Lyon, the Préfecture, the regional council Rhône-Alpes and the Lyon University PRES.

EME is quite simply a team of qualified people here to welcome you, provide free access to useful documents and services laid on by public or private partners on various themes :

Accommodation
Accommodation offers and applications. At EME, the CROUS accommodation team registers students to give them free access to means of research put together by the CROUS, the CRIJ, the CLLAJ, Urbania and OSE. These provide offers each day and files to consult freely on the spot. You can also leave requests for accommodation and flat-sharing.
Accommodation grant – via the Lyon CAF (family allowance) office, you can fill in grant applications on line. These are known as APL and ALS grants. The Alliade group provides information on Locapass and the deposit to apply for.

Welcoming international students
Residents' card – renewal of residents' cards is possible at EME, thanks to our collaboration with the Préfecture. You can also apply for a first time resident's card here. This will be sent off the OFII.
Europe and international mobility – You will find information on the European Union at Europe Direct. The nearby International Information Centre (CII) is also open at the same time as the EME and will answer all students' questions about going abroad.

Services
Jobs – The CRIJ has a notice-board of jobs available and provides access to specialised sites.
Transport – space is devoted to information on prices and subscriptions on TER/SNCF (trains), TCL (localtransport in Lyon) and Vélo'V pedal-bikes. You will also find information on weekends outside Lyon, via TER
Health – The complementary health insurances SMERRA and LMDE are here at EME to give out information. For preventive care, CPEF members give individual attention on appointment, free of charge, for individuals or couples. Information on contraception, vaccinations, etc.
Culture and sport – all the information about what's on and the opportunity of buying a PassCulture here at EME : 16 euros for 4 tickets to performances at the theatre, concerts, dance or cinema !
EME has a partnership with www.culture.lyon.fr and www.oslyon.com and information leaflets are free of charge.

Cybersp@ce
Free access to computers for students to look for jobs and accommodation. There are pre-selected information sites.
You will also find the Students' Guide on lyoncampus.info, in French, English, Spanish and Chinese.

EME highlights
Accommodation Tuesdays (Septembre 18th, 25th and october 2th) – days on a theme, animated by professionals who will give you information about flat-sharing, the rights and obligations of landlords and renters, and also on accommodation grants.
Transport (September 6th thursday, September 12, 19, 26th Wednesday).
Health (September 6th, 13, 20, 27th thursday)

Déjà présent en Ile de France, www.lokaviz.fr s'adresse dès aujourd'hui à tous les étudiants de tous les CROUS.
Il référence plus de 220 000 logements en résidences CROUS et chez les propriétaires.
Pour les étudiants, c'est un accès facilité pour leur recherche de logements à toutes les périodes de l'année.
Pour les propriétaires c'est l'opportunité d'afficher leur offre sur la centrale nationale du logement étudiant et de pouvoir être labellisé.

Viser une location étudiante à partir d'un seul site, de chez soi et pour habiter n'importe où en France, voilà l'idée générale de LoKaviZ.

Déjà présent en Ile de France, www.lokaviz.fr s'adresse dès aujourd'hui à tous les étudiants de tous les CROUS.

Pour les étudiants :

Ce site permet de connaître les disponibilités en temps réel des logements et de réaliser leurs recherches en fonction de multiples critères dont la proximité du lieu d'études, le prix ou encore l'équipement.

Ce site référence plus de 220 000 logements en résidences CROUS et chez les propriétaires.
De quoi faciliter les démarches des étudiants en période de rentrée mais aussi l'accès à un logement en cours d'année.

A Noter : Des logements en résidences universitaires peuvent être disponibles en cours d'année pour les étudiants

Pour ceux qui ne sont pas déjà logés en résidences CROUS
Pour ceux relevant du Dossier Social Etudiant, boursiers du Ministère de l'Enseignement Supérieur,
et /ou effectuant un stage de courte durée.

Vous pouvez faire une demande pour être logé :

entre le 2 novembre 2011 et le 30 juin 2012, en chambre simple ou réhabilitée;
entre le 2 novembre 2011 et le 31 août 2012 pour un studio.

Attention :
Cet hébergement ne peut en aucun cas donner droit à une réadmission pour la rentrée 2012.
Les étudiants désireux d'obtenir un logement en Résidence universitaire pour l'année universitaire 2012-2013 doivent faire une demande en constituant un Dossier Social Etudiant entre le 15 janvier et le 30 avril 2012

Pour les propriétaires :

Le site www.lokaviz.fr, c'est l'opportunité d'afficher vos biens, dans une centrale dédiée au logement étudiant, gérée par les CROUS.

Les logements proposés pourront être labellisés par les équipes du CROUS garantissant ainsi :

Le respect des critères réglementaires du logement décent,
La performance énergétique,
Le montant du loyer, des charges, et des éventuelles prestations,
Le respect des bonnes pratiques en matière de rapports locatifs entre le bailleur et le locataire,
La localisation tenant compte de la proximité des établissements d'enseignement supérieur et des équipements sportifs et culturels, et des temps de trajets en transports en commun ou vélo.

Les propriétaires qui avaient déjà déposé leurs offres sur le site du CROUS verront leurs annonces directement intégré au nouveau site LoKaviZ.fr.
